Michael is currently completing a one year master's program abroad. Upon his return he will pursue a PhD in applied mathematics at Stanford University. Michael, originally from China, and raised in Portland, Oregon, created a novel desktop nuclear fusion reactor in high school and in college wrote software that gauged the "riskiness" of financial securitites. From Web page rankings to stock market modeling, Michael sees mathematical similarity in most everything. He believes studying mathematics in one context informs knowledge in another. Michael is 23 years and graduated from Princeton University with a degree in Applied Mathematics.
