Jennifer Roberts is a PhD candidate in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science (EECS) at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology with a dual Hertz-NSF Fellowship. She received her Masters in Electrical Engineering with a thesis on Bayesian Networks for Cardiovascular Monitoring, and she is currently working towards her PhD on representation change during human learning and development.
In addition to research, she served as President of the EECS Graduate Students Association and developed an orientation program for new students, increased communication between students and faculty administrators, and started programs to foster the academic, social, and professional development of EECS graduate students. She currently chairs the EECS Resources for Easing Friction and Stress (REFS) program, working with a group of certified student mediators to support the graduate community in dealing with stress and conflict.
