Profile: Krishna Nayak received his BS from Florida State University (1995) and his MS (1996) and PhD (2001) from Stanford University. He is currently a Research Associate at Stanford University continuing his work in Cardiac and Cardiovascular Magnetic Resonance Imaging. During his years as a Hertz Fellow (1995 - 2000) Dr. Nayak produced six first author journal papers, twenty-seven conference papers, and was awarded the Hertz Doctoral Thesis Prize in 2001
