Paul Podsiadlo has received the University of Michigan's College of Engineering Robert M. Caddell Memorial Award. This award is given to one Faculty/Graduate Student Research Team who has jointly made significant contributions to research activities. The award carries an honorarium of $5000.00 to be shared among the team members.
The team consisted of: Paul, his adviser Prof. Nicholas A. Kotov (Chemical Engineering), Amit K. Kaushik - a graduate student in the Mechanical Engineering Department, Yaning Li - a Postdoctoral Researcher in the Mechanical Engineering Department, their adviser Prof. Ellen M. Arruda (Mechanical Engineering), and Prof. Anthony M. Waas (Aerospace Dept.).
